Today I would like to share with you some world class thinking habits about money that may drastically improve the way you think about money and life if you choose to adopt them.
These thinking habits come from a book called, “How rich people think” by Steve Siebold. This book was my first real eye opener when it comes to money and personal development, and it was the book that had the greatest impact on setting me up to pursue my purpose.
Thinking Habit 1
Middle Class people think that money is the root cause of all evil, while World Class people think that poverty is the root cause of all evil.
Society has brainwashed us to believe that rich people are dishonest and most of them made their money through dishonesty and corruption. This has cause the average person to see the lack in the world and not the opportunity. Money has become a taboo and has been closely associated with greed and corruption.
World class thinkers know that while money will not bring them happiness, it will help them to live a fulfilling life. World class thinkers believe in abundance and know that there is enough wealth for everybody. They believe that poverty and lack is the greatest evil and the main cause of crime.
Thinking Habit 2
Middle Class believe in working for money, world class believe in working for fulfillment.
The middle class strategy of finding a relatively safe job and sticking it out so that you may be able to live a mediocre life and pay your bills, is not only a terrible strategy for becoming financially independent, but its effects go beyond that and can lead to massive dissatisfaction in life and even to depression.
The world class believe in following your passion, because they know that money follows value, and you can add the most value to other people when you are following your passion. You will put in a lot more hours than the standard 9 – 5, and you will take pride in what you have to offer. This will not only lead to financial Independence but will greatly improve the quality of your life.
“If you do what you love, you will never have to work a day in your life.”
Thinking Habit 3
Middle Class think small, World class think big.
Middle class believe in lack, they are under the impression that taking risks will always lead to loss, so they take as little risks as possible with the smallest chance of failure possible. They think small thinking is safe and will eventually lead them to riches. Small thinking has never lead to greatness of kind. They don’t set their goals too high and miss, they set it too low and reach them.
The world class have big goals and even bigger dream, they aim for the sun because they know that even if they miss they will land among the stars. The world class thinkers go big or go home, they know the path to wealth required great risk and are not afraid to think big and aim high. No great achiever ever aimed low they all had great dreams and visions for themselves that inspired them to get up and achieve everyday.
